This is beautifully sculptured drop point knife with a brass bolster and brass pins.
Blade
Made of carbon steel, the blade keeps an edge longer than a stainless steel blade and is easier to sharpen. Less time sharpening, more time cutting. It will patina with age and achieve its own character. A full tang means the blade is integrated into the handle and makes for an extremely rugged knife. The edge is sharpened to an angle of 20 degrees.
Functionality
This knife is perfect for using around the campfire and for hard work in the field. It fits the hand beautifully and is comfortable to use for prolonged periods of time. This knife has beautiful brass accents and feels substantial.
Handle
The handle material is either native NZ wood or Curly Birch infused with resin. It has lovely lines and is very nice to hold. The bolster and pins are brass.
